Dr. Kimberley Makela is a dedicated Licensed Psychologist specializing in adult mental health assessment and psychotherapy. She has extensive experience treating a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, perfectionism, body-image concerns, adjustment to stressful life events, chronic illness and grief-loss, relationship problems, childhood trauma, PTSD, and addictions. Dr. Makela earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan and completed a CPA-accredited pre-doctoral residency with the Saskatoon Health Region. Her training spans both community and hospital settings, allowing her to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with ranging support needs. Additionally, she has specialized training in clinical health psychology, addressing the unique challenges faced by clients with co-existing mental health and medical conditions.
