No matter where you are on your journey to building your family, we have the knowledge and skills to help you

The process of adding a new baby or child to your family is a special and exciting experience

However, for many people and their families, it can also be a stressful and exhausting time of life.

For some people, the process of building their family is relatively smooth, while others face significant challenges on the road to parenthood that may include difficulties getting pregnant or challenges with adoption. For some, there are also experiences of loss.

While no two experiences are the same, almost everyone experiences shifts in their physical and emotional well-being as part of this journey. And many people can benefit from expert support in navigating this stage of life.

You Are Not Alone

When a new child joins the family, normal routines are disrupted, sleep is hard to come by, and other close relationships may change all while new parents do their best to care for the new addition to the family.

Many parents experience shifts in their well-being, ranging from short-lived “baby blues” all the way through to more long-lasting issues with postpartum depression or anxiety.

We help you navigate the challenges of new parenthood and more fully enjoy this special time.

Our Approach

Take the First Step

The first step towards feeling better is to meet with your psychologist for an initial assessment session so that they can better understand your unique situation and needs. Using this information, your psychologist will guide you step-by-step through the process of learning effective coping skills.

As part of planning your path forward, you and your psychologist can discuss if it would be helpful to invite a support person to attend particular sessions. This can help your support person to better understand what you are going through and how they can best support you. You are also welcome to bring your baby or little one to your in person sessions or you can choose to meet with your psychologist using videoconferencing.

No matter where you are in your journey, learning effective skills to feel happier and healthier is one of the best investments you can make in your well-being and that of your family.
