Our primary therapy approaches include:
- Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – CBT is our core therapeutic approach. It is considered to be one of the most effective treatments for many of the challenges adults face, including anxiety, depression and stress. CBT helps people develop healthier thought patterns, problem-solving strategies, and other helpful coping skills.
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) - DBT offers powerful tools for managing intense emotions, reducing impulsivity, and building stronger interpersonal relationships. It’s especially helpful for adults struggling with emotional dysregulation or self-harming behaviours.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - ACT helps people develop psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult emotions, clarify their values, and take positive steps toward meaningful goals- even when challenges persist.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) - IPT is especially effective for depression and relationship difficulties. It helps people navigate the social and emotional realities of life.
